Keefe's Wall Enhancing was established in 1993
and is owned and operated by Jean Keefe.
I work with interior designers, home builders,
commercial establishments and most importantly,
home owners to coordinate fabrics, furniture, life
styles and personal tastes with paint effects and
custom colors.
Throughout the past years I've attended various
schools nationwide.  They include:
  •        The Finished School, Floral Park, N.Y..
  •        The Faux Finish School, Louisville, KY
  •        Synopia, San Francisco, CA
I have also been a member of SALI (Stencil Artisan
League, Inc.) and have attended many of the
conventions that they sponsor.
At these schools I was trained in exclusive
techniques, products available to professionals and
experienced the highest level of industry standards.
During the years I have also developed my own
distinctive techniques and methods.
Keefe's Wall Enhancing has been involved in
numerous Parade Homes and also fund raisers such
as Hiawatha Homes' "Festival of Trees" and the
Decorators Showhouse featuring the Plummer House
here in Rochester.
I am a native of Rochester.  I am married to a
wonderful man and we have six children and eleven
grandchildren.
Being of a creative nature, I have found decorative
painting to be a wonderful outlet to satisfy this
passion.  I have also had the pleasure of thoroughly
enjoying the clients I have come to meet and know
throughout the years.
In the past five years I have created custom artwork
that I throughly enjoy. I also create banners for our
worship services at my church.
During my free time I enjoy spending time with my
family and close friends.

My desire is to create beautiful pieces that invite emotion and reaction from the viewer that will lead
them to search for themselves who the great “I AM” of all creation is. I have written haiku poetry for
each painting that will describe briefly the summary of my thoughts as I imagined each one.
Because of life’s inevitable heartaches I turned to Jesus years ago and prayed for a hunger to
know Him and found God in His Word. Through many celebrations and trials I have looked to
Scripture for answers and have found God faithful. My most likely answer to describing the
difference God has made in my life is this overwhelming sense of peace and knowing He is
sovereign.
The umbrella for this artwork is called The Colors of Believing God. Isaiah 43:10 states that we are
His witnesses, chosen by Him, so that others may know and believe Him.  I consider God’s Word
and I listen for my response. My heart and mind imagine what God’s intention would be as He
uses me to tell you about who He is. By taking colors and texture I visualize and create what flows
from that onto the canvas. For these paintings I wanted to convey just a smidge of the myriad of
colors, depth and unlimited variety there is to God.
Please contact me with your comments and questions.
I look forward to sharing my passion with you through my artwork.
Soli Deo Gloria!
Thank You.
